A Teenager No More...

A big happy Birthday to Tim today! He's 20! A teenager no more. He's officially old. ;) Hard to believe that my little brother is all grown up and getting married! I remember hiding in the broom closet with him when we were just munchkins, trying to get out of having a nap. Or going skating with him, both when we were really little and then when we were older. He did eventually grow out of the nickname TIMBER!! We've had some pretty great times together, I'm going to miss him when he moves to the "Peg". I'm also going to miss the sound of a guitar in the house! I love your heart for God and worship Tim! Keep it up!

Other than that, life is going good. I'm now a proud owner of my very own house. :) Work is good and challenging. I have a great bible study group that challenges me. I miss Austria and friends there. God is teaching me to trust and rely more on him. Nat and Candice are moved into town and it's going to be great to have a sister in town! Yeah so those are the changes for now. I'm exhausted so that's all for now. ttfn

So other than that, not much else is new. I'm enjoying my work. Dad got home from Haiti tonight. He had a successful trip training pastors. Looking forward to wearing jeans to work on Friday and Saturday! Tomorrow is going to be another cold one. Anywhoo.. time for bed. ttfn

Excitement..

So apparently since my life is so boring, God decided I needed a little livening up. :) My little brother and his girlfriend came home from a date in the city last night with great news. The girls are beating the boys now. They're engaged!!. :) So I guess I'm off the hook for getting married until 2010 now. My oldest brother was married in 2004, the next in 2006 and now Tim is getting married in 2008, so I have a couple of years to relax now. Just kidding. I'm not too worried about it anyway. I messed up the years when I was born anyhow. 1982, 1984, 1987 was me and 1988 was Tim. I'm thinking of waiting till my best friend's baby can be a flower girl and maybe my niece or nephew will be either a ring bearer or flower girl too. Wow, but time does fly!

What's exciting in my life??

Well...let's see. This morning I pulled two white hairs out of my head, and I mean WHITE. They were not blonde or grayish brown, they were white. :( Ok, I'm getting old. Other than that, I really don't have much going on in my life. I'm working full time as a teller again. Which is going ok. I love the people I get to work with all the time. So fun. I really don't have much of a life outside of work right now, which is all right too. I would really like to move out again, but at the moment, the prospects are few. :) I'm taking a work related course and will be writing an exam for that in June I think. Today is my day off and I have absolutely no plans whatsoever. I am going to read and relax. It is really cold out there today, but I might go for a walk anyway. So yeah, I'm still alive and on this planet, but there's not much to report.
